The Press and Information Office (PIO) understands the importance of protecting Personal Data (PD) and as the “Data Controller” for the personal data it maintains, is committed to processing them in a fair and transparent manner, in full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR – Regulation 2016/679) and the applicable relevant legislation in Cyprus.
