Printmaker – Evgenia Vasiloude
Evgenia Vasiloude was born in 1962 in Nicosia. She studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Kyiv, Ukraine, where she received a Master in Fine Arts degree. In parallel, she trained in illustration, graphic design, calligraphy and art history within the Department of Printmaking and Graphic Arts.
Since 1992, she has presented her work in eight solo exhibitions in Cyprus and in international printmaking exhibitions abroad. In 2003, she received the second jury prize at the 9th Cairo International Biennale for her work Hymn to Demeter.
Her works are included in the State Collection of Contemporary Cypriot Art, as well as in private and institutional collections.
