Painter – Rhea Bailey
Rhea Bailey was born in 1946 in Nicosia. She studied art at the Sir John Cass School of Art in London and completed her studies at the College of Art in Liverpool. Upon returning to Cyprus, she worked for several years as an art teacher.
Her work transcends everyday experience, seeking essence beyond form, and is often approached as an expression of spirituality.
She has presented her work in solo exhibitions in Cyprus, the United Kingdom, the United States, Greece and Spain, and has participated in numerous international art exhibitions and festivals abroad. In addition to drawing and painting, she has also worked with weaving.
