Painter – Pambos Michlis
Pambos Michlis was born in 1947 in Achna, Famagusta. At the age of 20, he moved to Famagusta where he established his first painting studio, and in 1969 he held his first solo exhibition at the Lyceum of Greek Women in Famagusta.
Following the Turkish invasion, he settled in Limassol, where he continues to live and work. In 1980, together with a group of artists, he founded an art studio that hosted both Cypriot and international creators. This period marked a turning point in his career, leading him gradually towards sculpture.
He has participated in 33 group exhibitions in galleries across Cyprus, and in 1987 took part in a group exhibition in London alongside Toula Mala and Dimitris Michlis.
