Painter- Loizos Sergiou
Loizos Sergiou was born in 1951 in Ayia Napa. He graduated from the Hellenic Gymnasium of Famagusta and studied Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence (1972–1976), where he presented his first works. After completing his studies, he returned to Cyprus.
The human condition and human expression are central sources of inspiration in his work. His artistic themes stand against violence and war, placing emphasis on love and human connection.
He has presented solo exhibitions in Sweden, Greece, Chicago, Paris, New York, London and Cyprus, while also participating in group exhibitions across Europe, America and Asia.
