Maria Pyliotou
Maria Pyliotou was born in Lefkoniko in 1935. Since 1976, she has published more than twenty-five books for children and young readers, spanning a wide range of literary forms.
Her work has received multiple State Prizes in Cyprus and international recognition, including the Janusz Korczak Award. Her books have been translated into French, Russian, and Ukrainian, and her poetry and prose have appeared in numerous Greek and international anthologies..
