Giorgos Moleskis
Giorgos Moleskis was born in Lysi in 1946. He studied Russian literature at Lomonosov Moscow State University, where he also completed his PhD. He worked in the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Cyprus and served as President of the Cyprus Writers’ Union.
He has published poetry, translations, and essays, and his work has been translated and published internationally. He has received the Cyprus State Prize for Poetry and the Pushkin Medal.
