Christos Hadjipapas
Christos Hadjipapas was born in 1947 in Trimiklini, Limassol. He studied Veterinary Medicine in Sofia, where he also completed postgraduate studies, and worked in the Veterinary Services of the Republic of Cyprus until 2006, when he dedicated himself wholly to literature.
He has published poetry collections, novels, and short story volumes, several of which have received state literary awards in Cyprus and Greece. His work has been translated into several languages. He has also contributed to the translation of literary and theatre works and previously served as President of the Cyprus Writers’ Union.
