Architect / Sculptor – Zenon Sierepeklis
Zenon Sierepeklis was born in 1947 in Paphos. He studied Architecture at the Sapienza University of Rome and, in parallel, Journalism at the PRODEO School, graduating in 1981.
He distinguished himself as an architect with an award-winning body of work, receiving the Cyprus State Architecture Award three times (1996, 2007, 2010) and prizes in more than twenty-five architectural competitions. In 2008, the Cyprus Architects Association honoured him with a retrospective exhibition of his work.
He has taught Architecture at the University of Nicosia and served as a visiting professor at the University of Cyprus. He is the founder and first president of the artistic photography association “Photodos”. His artistic practice also extends to photography, sculpture and printmaking, while he has authored several books focusing on memory and history.
