Nasa Patapiou

“A poet can shape a whole world — perhaps many worlds across the centuries. One may write alone, yet never feel loneliness.”
Nasa Patapiou

Nasa Patapiou was born in Rizokarpaso in 1953. She studied History and Archaeology at the University of Athens, as well as Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology, and later pursued studies in theatre. She has also worked in Greek and Italian palaeography.

Her poems have been published in notable literary journals and included in anthologies in Cyprus, Greece, and abroad. Among her published works are the poetry collections The Vocal Body, Birthday City, and Melusine’s Earrings.
